Gale Databases -comprehensive list and cross-searchable selection of several Gale databases on an array of academic topics.
JSTOR– full-text scholarly journal articles from all academic disciplines. JSTOR’s coverage extends back to the earliest date of publication of a given periodical, but will not usually include the very latest issues.

Everyone should sign up for an eCard from the Boston Public Library. This will give you access to all of BPL’s online resources including Overdrive and Hoopla. Get an eCard here

For a better Google search, limit your search to edu or gov pages:
site:.edu (keywords) – university libraries, professor’s pages
site:.gov (keywords) – government pages, including Library of Congress, National Archives, etc.
Here is an example of how to search only university websites for the keywords global warming.
